We’re looking for a lead product designer to work across our portfolio of consumer-facing native mobile apps. In this role you will partner with our engineering and product teams to unite our technical capabilities with design to create innovative customer experiences. You will engage in customer research, build prototypes, and create final designs to enable the future of our products. We have a preference toward being able to work together in-person in our Atlanta area office, but are also open to remote candidates.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather product requirements from user feedback, user interviews, product usage data and key stakeholders
  • Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and wireframes
  • Create intuitive user interface designs that meet the product requirements and solve customer problems
  • Consult with development team on UI/UX issues and marry the technical capabilities to the design
  • Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how app function and look
  • Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
  • Evaluate and manage the end-to-end product experience

Requirements:

  • 7+ years’ experience building consumer facing native mobile apps
  • Proven work experience as a lead UI/UX Designer working with consumer-facing mobile apps
  • Portfolio of native mobile app projects (please submit with you application as we can't even consider you without it)
  • Relentless curiosity for learning how our customers use our app day-to-day
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to discuss design decisions with key stakeholders and advocate for the user
  • Background facilitating usability testing
  • Expert in Sketch/Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, wire framing, and prototyping software
  • Ability to create intuitive and simple information architecture based on real data
